My next introductory course starts on Wednesday 18 September, when I will be leading five consecutive Wednesday evenings at the Wilmslow Guild, assisted by other local teachers.
Jenny Fox Eades leads courses for beginners and for more experienced students in Fallowfield, Manchester on Tuesdays from 17th September and two classes in Macclesfield on Mondays from 14th October. Jenny also leads occasional courses in Whalley Bridge, SK23. The classes are described in more detail here. It may be possible to join some of these classes later in the term.
Jenny has more than 30 years' experience (5 with the A.T.) teaching groups and a PhD in Well-being in Education. She also has professional qualifications in group skills and dynamics.
For more information, or to book any of these classes, contact Jenny directly on 07974 944585 or at [email protected].
Kim Cant leads introductory courses in Warrington, Saint Helens and/or in Lymm.
Olwen Edwards gives occasional free introductions in Hebdon Bridge and Halifix in Yorkshire.
It is also worth checking the search page on the website of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique from time to time for information about other local classes.
I have no workshops scheduled at the moment, and I do not know of any others locally. Workshops are organised in this area occasionally, and are usually intended for people who have already had some lessons. Please contact me to be added to my email list and I will let you know when the next event is planned.
Classes for experienced students
I lead two classes each week for experienced students.
